Movie Watching in Jamshedpur

Watching a movie in Jamshedpur is always fun. The crowd is really awesome and makes you part a unique cinematic experience. So we decided to do it again this weekend. The ticket rates are the lowest you can find anywhere. Since there was huge rush, we decided to buy the tickets in black. Even then the price we paid was one third of what we would have paid in any metro. Since there was no seat number mentioned and we were late, we could not get a set of continuous seats. The movie was not so good, but the crowd made good fun of it. With no AC and fan covering us, the ambience was on the tougher side to bear on. Rest of the movie was fun but definitely made us lose some pounds.

Hostel Cleaning Staff

When you walk into your room, and every step requires one item or other to be moved, you know it is time to clean the room. I tell the cleaning guy to clean the room. He responds immediately and asks me to stand by. He cleans the room and uses the mopper to mop it up. He takes all the old newspaper and puts them outside. He advises to clean the room regularly and promises to do the same every four days

Fancy Sports store

Buying a football stud should not be big problem for anybody. Just provide you feet size and choose shoes accordingly. Well not for someone whose one foot is half an inch bigger than the other. Yours truly went to store with little hopes as previous stores visited were not able to solve his problem. The moment I enter the store the keeper enquires whether I am from XLRI ( I still do not know, how every shopkeeper comes to know of it). I tell him my problem. He brings me some high quality shoes from the godown. Once I made my choice he asked to custom fit these shoes by putting extra padding on the smaller foot. I gave him my contact number. The very next day he contacted me and gave me my customized pair. I love kicking the ball again

The Sonnet

This has somehow become the season of birthdays. One of friends gave his birthday treat at “The Sonnet” . We were around 25 guys together and hence became a big logistic problem for the restaurant. We were asked to wait outside. They escorted us to a small hall downstairs to accommodate us. The room was slightly damp and smelled pungent. The waitors respondent to our discomfort and brought room fresheners immediately. The music played was also adjusted and we were allowed to fit our laptop within it. The food was also served properly and was of good quality.

Assurance:- 9 ( Even when we went in discomforting large numbers, we were accommodated)
Tangibles:- 7 ( The hall was properly furnished and room fresheners used)
Empathy:- 9 ( The staff understood our discomfort with the dampness and the music played and changed things accordingly)
Responsivness:-8 ( We were eating within 30 min of our reaching there)

IRCTC

Well I should IRCTC my homepage. I find myself booking some ticket almost every other day. I was booking a ticket for my friend, everything was sailing smoothly but then just as the transaction was made the webpage disconnected. I had no ticket but the transaction had taken place. I called their customer service who asked me to send an e-mail. I did that and within one day my money was returned.
Rating
Reliability :- Ticket booking have been consistent throughout the years.
Assurance:- The helpline numbers make us believe every doubt will be solved
Tangibles :- The website is well maintained with lot of transaction options
Empathy:- The customer care executive understood my problems and gave prompt suggestions
Responsiveness :- The money was returned within 24 hours

Bloom’s Bar

We were just coming back from the market that we saw a billboard of Teachers and we realized its been a long time since we drank. Se we go best economy bar in Jamshedpur, the “Bloom’s Bar”. We find a nice sofa in the corner and sit there. The waiter asks us to shift to a smaller table. Well bullies we are we don’t. The waiter murmurs a bit but goes . He quickly takes the orders. We then cancel one order which he accepts very easily. The food was good and properly served. He never said anything even though due to us he lost a bigger customer group who could not get a place to sit

Assurance:- Whatever drink he was pouring he would show it to us
Tangibles:- The bar has a good ambience.
Empathy:- Even though we behaved badly, the waiter understood our want for more comfortable sitting and did not bother us
Responsiveness:- The food and drinks were served quickly

XL Dhaba

Its been two weeks, and we have started to love the mess food. So to do something about it, we went to our newly opened “XL Dhaba”. The moment we go in we see the familiar faces of old mess guys( Its they only who are cooking the food). Hope its better here. We look into the menu . It looks good and even has prawns. We order prawns biryani (Never heard of it before) and two cold drinks. The waiter says only food no drinks(not even cold drinks). The food comes after some 20 mins. Its good . Then we order veg Manchurian and fried rice. The guy comes in 5 min with two plates. We ask him what it was, to which he said chicken Manchurian. But we ordered veg Manchurian. The waiter curtly replies that then it would be veg Manchurian. Not convinced we went through. Even now we do not know what Manchurian it was. I hope it was either chicken or veg nothing else.

Reliability:- Not so good. The waiter was not aware what he was serving

Assurance:- Again Not so good due to same reason

Tangibles:-The dhaba has a good ambience. It does increase your initial experience

Empathy:-They did make an effort to serve quickly when the customer was getting restless
